We have reached the milestone where we have left the
brick-and-mortar location of 149 Main Street in Beacon in search of a
new kind of format for the gallery. During the six years on Main Street (2012-2018) it was our privilege and pleasure to host many group and solo exhibitions of Hudson Valley and NYC artists. Twenty-two solo exhibitions from this period will be archived over time on this brand new website (live on 5.15.20).
I am thrilled to be able to continue to handle Inuit art from Cape Dorset (now Kinngait) and am available by appointment to view our inventory of original graphics and carvings here at our house in what has become known as the Inuit Room. Please stay in touch, as
David and I haven't really gone anywhere: we still live just around the
corner, and we hope to connect with you at all the cultural events here,
there and everywhere - now that we have more time and opportunity to do
so.
I am excited about building up this new website devoted almost exclusively to Inuit art and cultural references. We have some prints on hand in our Print room in Beacon (by appointment) and we can obtain anything from the Toronto marketing office as well if it is still available. Check dorsetfinearts.com and search available prints.
